Sisters Jacket

This is the jacket I've made for Sisters. It will be sold in a couple of their 55 stores in Sweden. There are only 10 jackets so queue up outside the Sisters stores on the 20th of April to make sure you get one of the jackets before they are sold out ;) I don't know yet exactly which stores they will be sold in, but I'll let you know soon!

Sneak peek

The 10 jackets I'm making for Sisters are almost done, I'm sending them tomorrow.. I've changed the fabric, painting the neoprene took to long and it was a nightmare to sew.. More pictures coming soon!

Sisters billboard

I'm making a jacket for Sisters, and right now you can see a billboard of my design in Stockholm. (It's at Kungsgatan - på 56:ans busshållplats "Hötorget", riktning Stureplan). It's there from 21st of March to 4th of April..

It's made by artist Martin Roeck Hansen, after looking at one of my quick drawings of the jacket.. I've changed the design slightly though, so it doesn't really look like that anymore.. but I'm still making a jacket :) I'll show you the result soon..
 





































As you know we are 15 designers who are making a garment each for Sisters, and we all have a billboard each. Here are the others:

Meeting with Sisters in Stockholm

I arrived late on friday night, and Stockholm greeted me with -18 degrees! As I didn't bring my winter coat, I had to wear layer upon layer upon layer to save myself from freezing to death. On Saturday I met up with the people from Sisters, and the other 14 designers who made it through...

We're going to design one garment each, and then produce a small number ourselves. So they're going to be limited edition! The garments will be sold in some of the stores around Sweden, but, there will images of the designs displayed in all 55 Sister stores.. The press show is on the 15th of April, so it's all happening rather soon!

Elin was going to host a ghetto party later that evening, hence these amazing colours! She works as a design assistant at JC, which is where her rings are from. After we finished I went straight there and bougth myself the wolf ring! (Which you can't see properly in this pic, but I'll show you soon!)



I don't think I'll be getting much sleep in the next couple of months, with this, school work and the fashion show I'm planning with my friends. But it's excessively exciting all the same, so all definitely worth it!



Sisters Academy Winner

Yay!! I'm one of the winners of the Sisters Academy competition! Sisters is a Swedish fashion label and I will design a part of a special collection for them. So this weekend I'm going to Stockholm to meet up with the people I'm going to collaborate with.. I applied for the competition trough facebook, and all the judges have ever seen from me is the picture above, which is both fun and scary. Don't really know what they are expecting from me! I'm going there tomorrow, and I'll keep you updated both about the competition and how I cope with all the snow and the minus degrees in Stockholm!
